Terms of Service for Trading Card Merchant (TCM)

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Trading Card Merchant (TCM) mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. TCM is a mobile-first peer-to-peer (P2P) marketplace designed for the buying and selling of physical trading cards, such as Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering.

2. Description of Service

TCM provides a platform for collectors to:

• Create and manage listings for physical trading cards.

• Discover local listings through PostGIS-powered location-based discovery and radius queries.

• Communicate via a real-time, contextual chat engine linked directly to specific card listings.

3. User Accounts and Subscriptions

• Registration: Users must create a profile to participate in the marketplace.

• Pro Seller Subscriptions: TCM offers "Pro Seller" subscriptions which provide access to advanced tools and featured listings.

• Identity Verification: All account actions are secured via Supabase Auth and JWT tokens to prevent impersonation.

4. User Content and Conduct

• Listings: Users are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, which are linked to a static catalog of official card data.

• Chat Decorum: Real-time chat is provided for transaction coordination. Faldryn Inc. reserves the right to monitor or restrict chat access to prevent fraud.

• Security: Users may not attempt to circumvent Row Level Security (RLS) or other platform protections.

5. Data Integrity and Deletion (Soft-Delete Policy)

TCM prioritizes marketplace integrity and user privacy through a soft-delete implementation.

• Account Deletion: When you delete your account, your email is anonymized to allow for future reuse.

• History Preservation: To maintain a reliable record for other users, chat history and transaction metadata are preserved even after an account or listing is deleted. Deleted users will appear as "Deleted User" in existing conversations.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• Physical Goods: Faldryn Inc. does not take physical possession of cards and is not responsible for the condition or authenticity of items traded between users.

• Service Availability: While we utilize a hybrid cloud strategy (Supabase and Cloudflare) for high performance, we do not guarantee 100% uptime.

• Offline Support: TCM provides local caching for performance, but users should not rely solely on offline data for active transactions.

7. Feedback and Bug Reporting

Users may provide feedback or report bugs through the integrated Wiredash service, which may capture screenshots and technical context to assist Faldryn Inc. in improving the service.
